The Gathering at Adell Audio Sermon

Jesus Walks on Water. Faith is consistently and continually looking to Jesus.

Matthew 13:1-9. Good soil perseveres to the end and produces fruit. It’s not what you go through in life that defines you, it’s how you go through it.

“Come to me, all who labor and heavy burden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Our greatest need is to be forgiven of our sins and to be made right with our Father in Heaven.

“Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door[a] will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

“Do not worry.” Matthew 6:25-34 What if we lived our lives in such a way that instead of worrying, we wonder/marvel at the beauty of God. Worry causes us to look to ourselves for a solution. Wonder puts our focus on God and allows us to look to Him for provision.

Matthew 6:5-15 The purpose of prayer is to draw us close to Him and to align ourselves with His plans and desires for our lives.

Matthew 5:21-30 Anger and lust hidden in our hearts reveal our desperate need for Jesus. Anger and lust are about us having power over other people. As Christ Followers we are to submit those things to the cross and be renewed inwardly daily.
